About Research

Enhanced Surveillance and Control of Vector-Borne Diseases Using Semi-Automated Drone System Mapping of Mosquito Breeding Habitats in Urban and Peri-Urban Settings . A pilot Study

The project titled “Enhanced Surveillance and Control of Vector-Borne Diseases Using a Semi-Automated Drone System” focuses on mapping mosquito breeding habitats in urban and peri-urban settings. It utilizes advanced drone technology to capture high-resolution aerial imagery for accurate identification of potential breeding sites. The study aims to strengthen early detection and improve targeted intervention strategies for vector control. By integrating geospatial data and real-time monitoring, the project enhances decision-making for public health authorities. This pilot study demonstrates an innovative and scalable approach to controlling vector-borne diseases more efficiently.
